Flash Equipment Setup and Operation
On the YN685
Press and hold the MODE button until you get “22 Remote” + “Slave” in the center of the screen.
Set the control of the flash’s zoom by the transmitter, press the zoom button (far left button) and then turn the wheel so there is an “A” (not “M”) in the little circle top center.
Click the Channel button (right side of left button) to select the Channel (top right) and then use the wheel to select the channel.
Click briefly on the Group button (left side of right button) to change the Group (screen bottom left). Each press cycles one group, A-B-C.
On the YN622C-TX
Use the Group (left button) to select group A, B, or C by repeated presses.
Hold the Channel button (right button) until the channel number (top right) begins to flash, then use the Up/Down buttons to change the channel.
Use the Left/Right center buttons to change the flash duration.
[Note: This does not affect the flash times of the YN560 IV & YN622C II combo!]
A brief press on the Zoom button (right) causes the zoom number to change. Use the Up/Down center buttons to change the zoom.

The YN560 IV + YN622C II Combo
Mount the YN560 on the hot shoe of the YN622 and lock it.
Turn the YN622 on. Set the on switch to 622 mode (all the way to the right)..
Repeated clicks of the CH SET button select the appropriate channel(s) it will respond to.
[Ch1 , Ch2 , Ch3 , ,Ch1 & Ch2 , Ch1 & Ch3 , Ch2 & Ch3 , Ch1 & Ch2 & Ch3]
Repeated clicks of the GP SET button select the appropriate group(s) it will respond to.
[GpA , GpB , GpC , GpA & GpB , GpA & GpC , GpB & GpC , GpA & GpB & GpC]
